L’Atlantic Division sembra avere un chiaro padrone, New York. Reduce dal miglior risultato negli ultimi 25 anni, il club newyorchese si presenta ai nastri di partenza della stagione da favoritissima in una Division con tanti punti interrogativi. L’infortunio di Tatum, e le dolorose cessioni, cambiano le prospettive dei Celtics, Philadelphia sulla carta potrebbe anche sorprendere ma sperare nella salute della coppia Embiid-George sembra un azzardo. Toronto gioca per il play-in, i Nets per la miglior scelta possibile al draft di giugno.
